Room Charge OR Door Prizes – It Depends: Kelly’s restaurant in Alvin has a very nice, totally private meeting room that could hold around 50 people. However, there’s a catch. I need to have 25 or more people there who ORDER food; otherwise, there is a $50 room charge.

You can attend and not order food, but the restaurant won’t count your attendance toward their required 25 people. To handle this possible room charge, I’ve asked each club in Area P1 to contribute the funds for this charge.

If 25 or more people attend and ORDER food, I’ll take the $50 I received from the clubs and hand out five, $10 door prizes. What this means is that five people will basically get their meal free. However, if less than 25 people order food, that $50 will go to the restaurant.

Agenda:5:30 PM - Arrive, order food (optional), socialize (everybody is responsible for paying for their own meal).
6:30 PM - Contestants and Contest Officials Briefings
